Yoga Nidra: A Path to Deep Relaxation

Yoga Nidra means sleep with a trace of awareness. It is the state of mind between wakefulness and dream. Pat helps you to practice Yoga Nidra to open the deeper phases of your mind in a deep state of relaxation, i.e., the subconscious and unconscious, the root of creativity. She uses Yoga Nidra to put you in touch with your inner self that helps you act on your ideals. While in this state the mind, you can correct any negative traits, bad habits, etc. It is not used to fulfill desires, but to create strength in the structure of the mind. Its purpose is to influence and transform the whole life pattern, not only physically, but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

The charkas are a symbolic map of all the levels of human being, from basic survival to unlimited spiritual freedom. Each of the exercises are clearly stated and described step by step. Pilates provides stability and flexibility. It develops a strong but also flexible "core" (area between shoulders and hips), particularly the deeper layer of "abs", which decreases back pain.
